ProLine MTB coaching was founded by professional rider Matt Simmonds with the goal of helping riders to improve and have more fun on their bikes.
Matt raced downhill mountain biking professionally for 14 years. During which time he rode for some of the top teams on the circuit, including Cannondale, Madison Saracen, and Chain Reaction Cycles Nukeproof.
During his downhill career Matt competed on the world stage, making the podium and regularly finishing within the top 20 in UCI World Cup races. He has also competed for Great Britain in the World Championships multiple times.

Matt is a CTC qualified skills instructor with over 10 years of coaching experience. Since retiring from racing Matt has coached people of all ages and abilities, from 7-year-olds right up to an XCO Olympic gold medallist. He is passionate about helping people to progress and have more fun on their bikes.
He's fully first aid trained and is DBS checked.
